It's Not Woo, It's Wisdom
This is for every woman who’s been told her intuition is irrational, her rituals are ridiculous, her healing is ‘just placebo’. Darling — it’s not make-believe. It’s memory. It’s the ancient, whispering back. You’re not making it up — you’re remembering...

What we've called 'woo' is often just what we've forgotten to honour: the ancient, the felt, the unseen. Energy work, ritual, cycles, ceremony — these aren't trends. They're truths. They're ancestral. They're cellular. Dismissing them as frivolous or flaky is just another way we've been asked to disown our inner knowing.
Practices that now fall under the 'woo' label — breath, herbal healing, ritual, energy balancing — were once sacred rites led by medicine women, midwives, and wisdom keepers. They were simply a way of life.
Things People Like to Discredit with a Woo Label
Energy work.
Moon rituals.
Intuition.
Like they are some fluffy nonsense, but let me tell you something: It’s not woo — it’s wisdom. It’s what women have always known. Before the textbooks. Before the clinics. We used herbs, breath, touch, light, and story. We listened to the body — not just poked it. We sat in circles and joined our energies in strength.
We flowed with the moon and we knew how to move pain with our hands. And now? Now we’re remembering. Not making it up. Not making it weird. We’re just finally honouring what we always knew.
So if someone calls it woo, just smile. And say:
‘No, love. This is ancient and it is rightfully mine.’
Calling it ‘woo’ was how they made us stop trusting ourselves. But we remember now.
