Get To Know Me

About pages are boring, aren't they? What you really want to know is how I can help you, right? So, let me tell you...

I CAN HELP YOU BECOME HER - the radiant, instinctive, intuitive woman you once were. Somewhere between raising families, running households, holding space for others, and living up to the world’s expectations, she slipped quietly into the background. But she’s not gone. She’s just waiting for you to reclaim her. That's what I can help you with - tapping into the power you were born with. The power that's been covered over by progress and modern man. It's still with you, and once you remember how to trust it, you'll start living in alignment with who you were always meant to be.

Now, About Me...

I’m Kym — a proud 60-something, on a lifelong path of healing & wisdom, and I believe in movement, mindset and magic - that's what I want to share with you. I’m the founder of Sexagenarian and creator of The Sovana Method, a series of tools to help you reclaim your power, your clarity, and your deep feminine knowing in this potent season of life.

If we'd have met at school, we probably wouldn't have been friends. My circumstances and background made me stand out. I was different, and we all know, different is not good in those formative years. But different often means purpose, and while the journey to get here has been horrendous, it's been necessary - I understand that now.

The good thing about it was that I didn't grow up with the usual rules. I had a lot of free time to let my head wander free and stick my nose in books, and I didn't have the usual voices admonishing me in their well-meaning voices. Nobody was on at me to 'stop being so sensitive,' or saying 'it's just your imagination.' And no one taught me not to listen to my gut feelings. That meant I learned something many people are now trying to remember: that instinct isn’t woo-woo—it’s wisdom ... a real, bone-deep knowing. I could sense things in people, rooms and places, which was fortunate, as I was often in danger.

I've never known another way, and while it was ridiculed in my day, watching the world wake up to spirituality over the past decade or so has been wonderful. The downside is I feel the massive misalignment between ancient, deeply-encoded soul work, because the modern world has turned into a trendy, diluted spiritual marketplace. Over the past two decades, parts of the spiritual community have become performance-driven rather than purpose-driven, and if I hear one more person say 'ask the universe,' reducing an ancient way of life to a cosmic vending machine, I might just explode.

I have so much to say on this subject, but I'll leave it here for now. If you're someone who feels you're more and you can't quite put your finger on it, drop me a message.

My gift is my instinct, and I came in with that. But here are some of the things I have trained in.

In the 1980s, I studied Medical Reflexology, diving deep into anatomy, physiology, and the body’s healing systems. In the early 2000s, I went to night college to study yoga, not to teach but simply to understand my body better.

Then, at the age of 57, I packed a bag and flew to Rishikesh in the Himalayas — the spiritual home of yoga — to become a certified yoga teacher. There I studied, yoga, meditation and Ayurvedic medicine. That experience was transformational, and it gave me a new reverence for the practice as both a science and a spiritual path.

Since then, I’ve trained in Energy Healing with Donna Eden, and studied Spiritual Surgery and Emotional Reprogramming with Jeanette Wilson. I’ve also trained in CBT, and today, I blend all these approaches into services such as intolerance testing through kinesiology to create highly personalised meal plans and healing tools for my clients. It’s a beautiful, complementary process that supports body, mind, and soul.

I’m not just here to help you stretch or relax. I’m here to help you remember who you really are — to return to the wise, wild, intuitive woman within. To feel radiant in your skin. To trust your energy. To live your truth.

Because midlife isn’t the end of the story — it’s the time to remember who the hell you are ... and become her.

My Mission

To help midlife women reconnect with their bodies, their energy, and their truth — using ancient wisdom, modern tools, and soulful practices that guide them back home to themselves so that they can 'become her.'

My Vision

To create a sanctuary — a retreat space where women can come to rest, learn, awaken, and remember who the hell they are. A place for healing, growth, and sisterhood, led by wisdom, not youth.
