Get To Know Me
Hello, I'm Kym Vincenti
I’m a writer, yoga teacher, health and wellbeing guide, and founder of Sexagenarian.
My simple health rules are real food, daily movement, better thinking and energy practices that keep us aligned. Sometimes it only takes a small change to make a big difference in how you feel and that is what I can help you with. I'm not about heavy work outs, depriving myself, or asking the universe to give me anything - the universe is not a cosmic vending machine. I understand that my body is unique and therefore I need to give it what it needs - not what everybody else needs. Generic wellness has it's place but the key to great health is in understanding your own unique needs. Through training and study, I've learned methods to determine what that is and from that I have a lifestyle plan. It does not mean I won't eat cake or drink alcohol sometimes, it means I know what best fuels my body and I can help you determine that too.
Too many midlife women are suffering with what are considered age related issues ... but are they really age related? Too many women are suffering from symptoms that get lumped under the term 'menopause' - but is it really? And too many women have no idea that some of the healthiest food on the planet might be an intolerance for them, like tomatoes for instance. I've lost count of the amount of women I've tested who have been intolerant to tomatoes! Food intolerance causes inflammation and many symptoms that are attributed to age or menopause and the magic of it is, cut out that food and wave goodbye to the struggle.
As a woman in my sixties, I'm post menopausal but apart from two weeks of itchy nipples at the age of 46, I've never had a menopausal symptom. Not one. Sure, genetics play a part, but it's what we give our bodies daily that contributes to everything.
I'm not going to lie - my interest in health and wellness is fear based. I grew up in a house of sickness and I watched my nan suffer terribly. Bed bound, immobile and in constant pain. And I watched my grandad try to heal her with food. Food is medicine was his daily mantra and now it is mine. Ageing doesn't scare me, but the thought of becoming immobile is what keeps me focussed on nutrition, movement and the right kind of headspace, even when life is not going my way.
This is an about page, so I'm supposed to tell you things like how much I love to read (which I do) but as we're talking about things I love, then we are talking about helping you. I'm a Virgo, we may be annoying, but we are born to be of service. As a small child, I saw illness and pain and it instilled the importance of wellness within me. That is what I am about - helping you be well.
And along with all of that, I believe in the power of community. Once, women would have had circles, elders, shared wisdom, and spaces where they could be held through change. That sense of community has been lost in many ways. Sexagenarian exists to help rebuild it. This is more than a wellbeing business. It is a gathering place for women who long for a slower, more thoughtful, more nourishing way of living — one that honours rest, nature, conversation, movement, reflection, lived wisdom, and the quiet power that often comes with age.
Through The Well, retreats, reflections, seasonal practices, yoga, meditations, recipes and shared conversation, I create spaces where women can feel steadier, clearer and well.
My Mission
I'm here to live with depth, speak with truth, and offer insight in service of healing, beauty, and real human meaning. In this way I help women reconnect with themselves through nourishment, movement, seasonal living, restorative practices, reflection, and community.
My Vision
To create a sanctuary where women can gather to rest, reflect, learn, share wisdom, and move through life more seasonally and sustainably together.
That is why I created The Well — a community rooted in nourishment, meaningful conversation, seasonal living and restorative practice, where women are welcomed exactly as they are and supported by the wisdom that comes from lived experience.

“A mutual friend introduced me to Kym when I was going through a very difficult point in my life and was recovering from breast cancer. My energy levels were extremely low and I was emotionally drained. Kym used a variety of methods to help and I found her commitment to supporting me hugely beneficial. She is a kind, giving lady who truly cares for the wellbeing of others. I also attended her retreat in Turkey which was a life changing experience, and I'm booked onto her retreat in Italy this September!”

"I'd been battling with ulcerative colitis and at the point where I couldn't have another round of steroids. The doctors said it was time for immunosuppressants, but I did not want lifelong drug dependency. Kym designed a 3 month programme. She tested me for intolerances, created recipes & a meal plan from what my body needed to heal. Then she designed a bespoke yoga routine, brewed some natural remedies and used energy work. My condition improved within 6 weeks and at the end of her programme, my inflammation markers were down to normal. Without the support, guidance and accountability from Kym, I would never have done it.
Leanne Dal Santo - London
"I went on a wonderful retreat hosted by the beautifully uplifting soul that is 'our Kym!' Anyone looking to unwind, reconnect and set the balance back in their lives needs to experience this. Everything was perfect and I came back feeling refreshed, energised and happy. I really can't thank her enough, she is truly an angel."

A word from my clients

“Kym is a life changer and a shapeshifter. And I’m not just talking physically. That too though, I’ve dropped 35lbs in under 3 months with easy peasy tweaks to foods. No dieting! Ever! Her energy work has a special alchemy, unsurpassed for me and I’ve been around the houses .... and, who knew yoga could be so easy, so enjoyable and a little bit addictive?! Best thing you’ll ever do. Namaste.”
Whirly Mcguire - Whirl About Town
"I started this programme 14 days ago and can honestly say it's been the only plan where I have genuinely not felt that I was depriving myself of food. The recipes are easy to follow and my whole family are happy to eat them as well as they don't look or taste like diet food. I love the yoga and am motivated to carry on as within 2 weeks I'm wearing the next size down in jeans."
Heena Thaker - Intentional Wealth Creation
"Kym really knows what she’s talking about. For me, the combination of yoga, meditation and healthy eating is the perfect combo. I’m not a ‘diety’ person, but Kym’s programmes are full of straightforward scrummy recipes that are beautiful. What has been really special though is the personal attention, sound advice and collaborative style."
