Get To Know Me

If you've lost sight of her — the radiant, instinctive, intuitive woman you once were, I understand. Somewhere between raising families, running households, holding space for others, and living up to the world’s expectations, she slipped quietly into the background. But she’s not gone. She’s just waiting for you to reclaim her.

I’m Kym — a proud 60-something, on a lifelong path of healing & wisdom and I believe in movement, mindset and magic - that's what I want to share with you. I’m the founder of Sexagenarian and creator of The Sovana Method, a series of tools to help you reclaim your power, your clarity, and your deep feminine knowing in this potent season of life.

My journey began in childhood. Raised by my grandparents, I witnessed daily the pain and struggle of my Nan, who lived with severe rheumatoid arthritis, making her bedbound. Her hands were curled like claws and her legs permanently bent at the knees, so it was my Grandad who lovingly cared for her - feeding her, washing her bedsores, lifting her on and off the commode as she cried out in pain - and all the time I watched. My Grandad was a Docker, a Stevedore at The East India Docks in Canning Town, and that meant he could lay his hands on things not commonly seen in cockney fruit bowls. This was important to him because his mantra was 'food is medicine' and he used it to try and heal my Nan. That wisdom he passed down to me when I was knee high and I've lived by it ever since. I can tell you this - if you eat the right foods for YOUR body, not only will you remain healthy, but you'll never worry about weight gain again.

From a young age, I was also captivated by all the things we can’t see, but we can feel — energy, emotion, intuition. That quiet spark of knowing has guided me ever since.

In the 1980s, I studied Medical Reflexology, diving deep into anatomy, physiology, and the body’s healing systems. In the early 2000s, I went to night college to study yoga, not to teach but simply to understand my body better.

Then, at the age of 57, I packed a bag and flew to Rishikesh in the Himalayas — the spiritual home of yoga — to become a certified yoga teacher. There I studied, yoga, meditation and Ayurvedic medicine. That experience was transformational, and it gave me a new reverence for the practice as both a science and a spiritual path.

Since then, I’ve trained in Energy Healing with Donna Eden, and studied Spiritual Surgery and Emotional Reprogramming with Jeanette Wilson. I’ve also trained in CBT, and today, I blend all these approaches into services such as intolerance testing through kinesiology to create highly personalised meal plans and healing tools for my clients. It’s a beautiful, complementary process that supports body, mind, and soul.

I’m not just here to help you stretch or relax. I’m here to help you remember who you really are — to return to the wise, wild, intuitive woman within. To feel radiant in your skin. To trust your energy. To live your truth.

Because midlife isn’t the end of the story — it’s the time to remember who the hell you are ... and become her.

My Mission

To help midlife women reconnect with their bodies, their energy, and their truth — using ancient wisdom, modern tools, and soulful practices that guide them back home to themselves so that they can 'become her.'

My Vision

To create a sanctuary — a retreat space where women can come to rest, learn, awaken, and remember who the hell they are. A place for healing, growth, and sisterhood, led by wisdom, not youth.
